British Tyson Fury outclassed Deontay Wilder to complete one of the all-time great comeback stories on Sunday morning.
Fourteen months after their first bout which ended in a draw, Fury knocked Wilder out in the seventh round to recapture the WBC heavyweight glory at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, USA.
The “gypsy king”, as Fury is nicknamed, dominated the fight from round one till he knocked Wilder out.
He first got through Wilder in the third round and again downed him with a body shot in round six with the American never able to recover.
The fight was stopped as Wilder’s corner threw in the towel in round seven.
After the bout, Fury said: “The king has returned to the top of the throne.”
“I want to shout out Deontay Wilder, he showed the heart of a champion. He got up and battled onto round seven. He is a warrior, he will be back and be champion again.”
