This is what Prince William had to say about the arrival of Baby Sussex

While he was in New Zealand last week, Prince William was asked about the arrival of Baby Sussex

As each day passes as there's no Baby Sussex, the wait becomes even more unbearable for all royal fans – us included.

And while royal watchers may think they don't have any intel as to when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first child will arrive, Prince William begs to differ.

On his recent trip to New Zealand to visit those who were affected by the terrorist attacks in Christchurch, the Duke of Cambridge was asked about the impending arrival of his brother's bub.

According to Town and Country, who caught an exchange between Wills and a royal onlooker from a Sussex fan account, he was questioned about Baby Sussex.

"Any sign of the royal baby?" one well-wisher allegedly asked.

"I haven't got my phone on me – I have no idea," the 36-year-old reportedly responded. "You guys will find out before I do at this rate."

The whereabouts of the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's baby have been kept private, which the couple announced in a statement earlier this month.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced they intend to keep the birth private.

The royal pair have opted to skip the photo opportunity which normally takes place outside the hospital where a royal baby is born.

Given Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, recently launched their own Instagram page, it's thought that's where the birth will be announced.

As far as we know, right now the former Suits actress is past her due date.

Chris Ship, royal correspondent for ITV, revealed few days ago Meghan's due date was April 26, adding the pair will be parents "definitely any day now".
The Duchess of Sussex is due to give birth any day now.

As for where Meghan will give birth, that's also up in the air. The Duchess is reportedly keen for a home birth, but also may opt to give birth at a local hospital in Windsor near their new home, Frogmore Cottage.

"We don’t know if she is going to have it at home, we think she’s going to try to but we’re not sure whether she is," Ship said.

All we can do is, unfortunately, wait
