Seven people have been injured after a taxi rammed through a crowd in Moscow.

Among the injured included Mexican fans who were gearing up to watch their nation's opening World Cup game against Germany tomorrow.

The driver, who may have been drunk, 'lost control of the vehicle, Moscow police say. The driver allegedly tried to flee from the scene but was later arrested by police.

Moscow traffic authority has published a photograph which shows two ambulances at the scene. They said the driver of the taxi had a Kyrgyzstan driving licence.
