Donald Trump rededicated the United States' to its alliance with Israel on Monday as the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem officially opened. Trump in a video address said that the U.S. will 'always be a great friend of Israel and a partner in the cause of freedom and peace' while honoring the nation and the city it claims as its capital as a 'testament to the unbreakable spirit of the Jewish people.' 'We extend a hand in friendship to Israel, the Palestinians and to all of their neighbors,' Trump said in a video address. 'May there be peace.' In a tweet shortly after he said, 'Big day for Israel.
