Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in four out of the six states in the south-south say there’s no consensus candidate for the chairmanship position of the party.
The state chairmen are Davies Ikanya, Rivers; Joseph Fafi, Bayelsa; Etim John, Cross River; Amadu Attai, Akwa Ibom.
They accused Godwin Obaseki, governor of Edo state, of trying to make them endorse Adams Oshiomhole, former governor of Edo, as the chairmanship candidate of the region.
