Benefits cheat who swindled £40,000 saying he 'didn't like to travel' while flying 839 times in nine years is jailed for 22 months


A father from Glasgow who was paid £40,000 in benefits and told authorities he didn't like to travel but took 839 flights over nine years, has been jailed for 22 months. Authorities discovered that Sahin Lim, 61, had five undeclared bank accounts that hundreds of thousands of pounds went in and out of. Lim benefited by having international flights paid for him to countries including Australia, America, Thailand and Ecuador.
