Thousands of troops march through Pyongyang as Kim Jong-un watches military parade on the eve of the Winter Olympics and his sister prepares to meet South Korea's president


Tens of thousands took part in the display in Pyongyang's Kim Il Sung square (main) which featured tanks, armoured vehicles, goose-stepping troops and an appearance by North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un and his wife (top right). Hwasong 15 missiles (bottom left), which analysts fear can reach targets anywhere in the US, were also wheeled through the streets on launcher trucks. Kim, wearing a black winter coat, gave a speech describing his nation as a 'global military power'.
