Idris Elba is engaged to be married to his partner Sabrina Dhowre after popping the question at a cinema in London on Saturday morning.
The British actor, 45, got down on one knee in front of friends and colleagues at a screening of his new film Yardie - and everyone in the audience cheered as she said yes.Rio Cinema in Dalston, which was hosting the screening, confirmed the happy news on Twitter with a picture of Idris grinning.
"Another riocinema first! Still 5 days to Valentines Day but idriselba went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend live on stage this morning before a preview of his film Yardie, " they tweeted.

She will become stepmother to his 15-year-old daughter Isan with first wife Hanne 'Kim' Norgaard, who he was married to between 1999 and 2003, and to his three-year-old son Winston with makeup artist Naiyana Garth.
