Kate steals the show in a £1,945 Erdem gown as she joins William for a black tie dinner at the home of the British Ambassador in Stockholm

The Duchess of Cambridge, 36, looked breathtaking in a £1,945 saffron yellow gown by British designer Erdem as she joined her husband for a black tie dinner (bottom right) at the home of the British Ambassador in Stockholm. The British royals chatted with the Swedish Prime Minister and his wife in an anteroom (top right) before making their formal entrance with Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, 40, and her husband Prince Daniel, 44, (centre). The Duchess was escorted into the dining room by Ambassador David Cairns (left). The Duke of Cambridge was seated between the Ambassador’s wife and Swedish actress Alicia Vikander. The Cambridges today kicked off their four-day tour of Scandinavia, which will see them visit Norway later this week.
