Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said President Muhammadu Buhari is completely focused on governing the country, and not on whether or not he will run in 2019.
The vice president said this while fielding questions at the 2018 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
Osinbajo, in the interview, discussed the steps the government is taking in building the economy. The country will be self sufficient in rice by early 2019, the Vice President said, with the foreign reserves at $40 billion.
Although the country generates between 7000 MW and 9000 MW, Osinbajo said, the impact hasn’t been felt by the consumers. The federal government is making investments to ensure power generation impacts the consumers, he said.
