UN voted 128-9 in favour of a resolution declaring Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Isreal 'void'

Theresa May (left) put Britain's special relationship with America on the line once again on Thursday as the UK voted against Donald Trump (bottom right) at the UN. The General Assembly (main) voted 128-9, with 35 abstentions, to put forward a motion rejecting America's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. That is despite Mr Trump saying he would be 'watching' who voted against America, with the threat to withdraw billions of dollars of aid money from countries that dared defy him. After the vote Nikki Haley (top right), his representative at the UN, said the US would 'remember this day'.
