Father-of-four Gerrard gave his six-year-old daughter Lourdes (far right in right image) an 18 carat rose gold iPad for her birthday (left). The 37-year-old published three photographs of the £1,455 device to his 6.5million followers, complete with the caption: 'Thanks @idesigngold for Lourdes 18k rose gold iPad with deep engraving check out their new website www.idesigngold.' [sic] But the midfielder, who wowed fans on the terraces during a long and glittering career for Liverpool and England, faced a backlash from his followers.
