Sadiq Khan is threatening to leave 3.5 million Uber users stranded': London Mayor is blasted by MPs as he tells furious passengers 'direct your anger at UBER'
Transport for London (TfL) confirmed yesterday that they would not be renewing Uber's (inset) licence at the end of the month due to concerns they are failing to report crimes carried out by its drivers. The firm, which employs more than 40,000 drivers in London and has 3.5 million customers in the capital, has slammed the decision and said it will appeal. Tory minister for London Greg Hands (right) said: 'At the flick of a pen Sadiq Khan (left) is threatening to put 40,000 people out of work and leave 3.5 million users of Uber stranded.'
