US parents 'locked their adopted 5-year-old son in a dark basement infested with mice and spiders and forced him to eat carrots until his skin turned ORANGE'

Utah couple Clarissa and Brett Tobiasson have been charged with child abuse for allegedly keeping their adopted son confined to a dark, spider-infested basement for up to 12 hours a day and denying him food, water and bathroom access. The child, who is now six years old, was adopted by the Tobiassons along with his two-year-old brother. The couple also have a two-month-old baby daughter.
