‘GIRLS TRIP’ SURPASSES THE $100 MILLION MARK MAKING IT THE FIRST FILM STARRING, WRITTEN, PRODUCED & DIRECTED BY AFRICAN-AMERICANS TO DO SO

Last month, the #GirlsTrip film featuring #JadaPinkettSmith, #TiffanyHaddish, #ReginaHall and #QueenLatifah hit theaters and has been responsible for drawing groups of women to theaters in droves!
All of the success of the movie has helped it to surpass the $100 million mark at the box office, making it the first comedy to do so this year. However in doing so, the cast of this super funny film have now made history! Not only is Girls Trip the first comedy to earn $100 million this year, but it’s the first film written, produced and directed by African Americans to do so!
