Fury as female football fans are ordered to show their BRAS and allow stewards to 'feel their underwear' during security checks as they entered the ground

Female Grimsby Town fans said they suffered a 'gross invasion of privacy' when they visited Stevenage's Lamex stadium over the weekend. The embarrassed women claim female stewards asked if they could 'feel' their underwear, during airport-style security checks. The supporters also say stewards searched children as young as five years and at least one was visibly upset. In a statement to Stevenage, Jon Wood, chairman of Grimsby's supporter's trust, said: 'It is our view that the treatment of Grimsby supporters by your stewards was among the worst our fans have experienced in decades of travelling across the world to watch football.'
