O.J. SIMPSON’S REQUEST FOR PAROLE GRANTED; “I WAS ALWAYS A GOOD GUY, BUT I COULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER CHRISTIAN”
O.J. Simpson appeared before a parole board in Nevada in a hearing to learn if he would be getting out of jail early. Looks like luck was on O.J.’s side because his request for parole was granted!
According to CNN, O.J. has served nine years of a nine-to-33-year sentence for an armed robbery and kidnapping in Las Vegas in 2007.
O.J. needed a total of six votes, the majority, in order to receive parole.
The biggest takeaway from this is that O.J. said “I’ve basically lived a conflict free life.”
He could be released as soon as October 1.
