DUP says deal to prop up Theresa May in power will be struck 'sooner rather than later' after party arrives at No10 to present PM with £1billion 'shopping list' of demands

Theresa May is trying to sew up a deal with the DUP to cling on to power today - despite warnings it could harm the Peace Process.
The Prime Minister has held talks with Arlene Foster in Downing Street as she seeks to make the best of the election debacle.
After the meeting, Ms Foster said the discussions were 'going well' and she hoped an arrangement for her 10 MPs to shore up the Tory majority would be reached 'sooner rather than later'.
She said the key issues were the need for stable government in the national interest, Brexit, counter-terrorism and 'doing what's right for Northern Ireland'.
But there are mounting concerns about the significant concessions that could be extracted from Mrs May over funding for Northern Ireland - potentially a billion pounds in tax breaks and infrastructure spending. As they arrived at Westminster this morning, one of the party's MPs joked: 'We're going shopping.'
Former PM John Major has also delivered a stark warning this afternoon that a Tory arrangement with the DUP to stay in power could undermine the Peace Process.
