Married couple are arrested in Miami 'after impersonating Adele's manager for over a year in order to scam concert tickets'

Jayce and Angel Lii (both pictured), 30 and 25, have been arrested on suspicion of impersonating Adele's manager for more than a year in order to swindle concert tickets

A married couple have been arrested on suspicion of impersonating Adele's manager for more than a year in order to swindle concert tickets.

Jayce and Angel Lii, 30 and 25, allegedly used Jonathan Dickins' name to get memorabilia and tickets to see musicians like Katy Perry, Drake and Pharrell Williams.

The Florida-based pair's arrest in a Miami police sting has left Mr Dickins 'breathing a slight sigh of relief' after a year of being 'victimised', lawyer Brian Bieber said.
They allegedly used the superstar's representative Jonathan Dickins' name to get memorabilia and tickets to see musicians like Katy Perry, Drake and Pharrell Williams

The suspects used an email similar to Mr Dickins' to contact the manager of rapper Kendrick Lamar to get tickets to the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, the Miami Herald reported.

But the manager at Interscope Records was suspicious and contacted Mr Dickins - who alerted police.

Officers said: 'It was confirmed that the email was not genuine, that this email address was known to be connected to the subject for making false claims such as this in the past.'

A Miami-Dade detective played along with the ruse and posed as a production manager, telling Lii his press pass was ready for pick up on the day of the festival.
