Explosions heard in Manchester's Moss Side as 'armed police take away two brothers' and a man, 25, is arrested three miles away over terror attack


One resident said on Twitter there was an explosion near Quantock Close and Selworth Road shortly before 2pm

Another suspect has been arrested in connection with the Manchester bombing after further raids today as police continue to close in on Salman Abedi's terrorist ring.

The 25-year-old man was arrested in the city's Old Trafford area, shortly after armed police stormed an address in nearby Moss Side, where residents reported explosions being heard.

More than a dozen officers swooped on the terraced home area as part of the investigation into the atrocity that claimed the lives of 22 people and injured more than 100.
