Jeremy Meeks says he can't understand why he was DEPORTED from the UK - and promises 'I'll be back' as he lands in Los Angeles

Meeks, whose mugshot made him a phenomenon, told DailyMail.com as he landed at Los Angeles that he was confused about why he was refused entry to the UK on Monday. Meeks, 33, landed at LAX on Tuesday morning where he told DailyMail.com he was 'saddened and confused'. He had been stopped at passport control at London Heathrow when he arrived on Monday and kept waiting for hours (inset) before being escorted by Border Force officers onto a plane to New York. His manager claimed his paperwork had been in order and he had a work visa for a personal appearance in the London on Thursday. His wife traveled with him and is returning to the United States.
