US and Russian troops have both entered the Syrian city of Manbij as part of efforts to defeat ISIS, an American official declared on Wednesday.

The two armies are reported to be keeping their distance from one another as diplomatic tensions between the nations remain at fever pitch.
US military spokesman Colonel John Dorrian told reporters: “They can see each other. They are not talking to each other, and they are not hanging out together."
