A prisoner in Florida who attacked a guard and tried to strangle him with a towel was tackled to the ground by fellow inmates when they stepped in to save the officer.Security cameras inside the Falkenburg Road Jail in Tampa captured the moment Kiondre Zachery, 22, attempted to strangle Deputy D. Hernandez in the unprovoked attack on Tuesday.

Zachery could be clearly seen wrapping the towel around the 31-year-old guard's neck in front of 72 other inmates in the packed jail pod.
