Is the Fresh Prince going back to Bel-Air? Internet goes into meltdown as cast of 90s show reunites… raising fans' hopes of a new series

Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Carlton Banks in the hit sitcom, sent fans into a frenzy as he fuelled reboot rumours by sharing a snap of the original cast reuniting on Monday. The actor, 45, posted a picture of the on-screen family enjoying a bite to eat at Nobu in Malibu, California, two decades after finishing their six season run in the show back in May 1996. Alfonso (second left) is seen smiling alongside (L-R) Tatyana Ali (Ashley); Karyn Parsons (Hilary); Will Smith (Will) Daphne Etta Maxwell (Vivian) and Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey). Remembering the late James Avery, who starred as Uncle Phil, Alfonso captioned the snap: 'Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince family. Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete,' the father-of-three captioned the snap.'
