Indonesia's masked Sharia law 'enforcers' administer agonising lashings to locals who dared spend time with people they aren't married to

Men and women were violently lashed by men dubbed Islamic executioners for spending time with people who are not their wives or husbands. The public caning took place in Banda Aceh in Indonesia, a province ruled by the brutal Sharia law as several citizens were whipped in front of a huge crowd. Masked men carried out the punishments as part of their duties as algojo, which translated from Indonesian means 'the executioner' and the person responsible for carrying out the death penalty.
