Britain gets a blanket of snow as far south as London with up to four inches expected across the country today as icy Scandinavian winds could send temperatures plummeting to -11C
Britain will fall into a mini cold-snap this weekend and the 'vast majority' of the country will see snow, with sleet across the south coast, including Brighton. Today's temperatures will remain between 3 and 5C but biting winds will make it feel colder.
