The Queen and Prince Philip are joined by the grieving son of Lord Snowdon as they attend church at Sandringham - just two days after the royal photographer's death

The Queen and Prince Philip, pictured together right, were joined by their nephew David Armstrong-Jones, inset, as they attended church in Sandringham this morning. Resplendent in a vibrant purple coat and hat, the Queen, left, sheltered under an umbrella as she walked from her cars to the church of St Mary the Virgin in Flitcham, on the edge of the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. David Armstrong-Jones, 55, the second Earl of Snowdon, is the son of Princess Margaret and royal photographer Lord Snowdon, who died on Friday aged 86.
