Donald Trump enters the Oval Office for the first time as President and immediately signs an executive order to begin the repeal of Obamacare

For his first act as President of the United States, Donald Trump officially named General James Mattis as his Secretary of Defense. His second order was somewhat more vague - he signed an order which vowed to 'ease the burden of Obamacare'. The orders came within minutes of Trump's official entrance to the White House and concluded the daytime portion of events on Friday. President Trump and his wife Melania arrived at the White House at around 5pm to take in the Inaugural Parade from a Reviewing Stand on the North Lawn.
