A SHOOTING outside a Glasgow primary school has sent parents rushing to their children after a gunman opened fire while pupils lined up for lessons.
Police rushed to the scene near St George’s, in Penilee, after receiving reports of a ‘firearms incident’. Gunshots were heard just after 9am this morning.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police officers are at the school and there is no threat to children or staff at the school.
"Police patrols are in the area to provide public reassurance.”
