Boy plays dangerously near 12ft waves as Storm Barbara continues to cause havoc in Britain with 117mph winds... and now Storm Conor is on its way

The young boy was seen risking his life on a sea wall in Porthcawl, South Wales, as huge white waves crashed against the shore - while people battled against 117mph winds to stand up straight in Blackpool. The awful conditions also wreaked havoc in Caernarfon, north Wales, with wind ripping a school's roof off and causing tiles to be scattered across the town. However, despite Storm Barbara battering Britain's coastline, it could be the warmest Christmas Day since records began 160 years ago, with predictions of 16C made by the Met Office.
