Thousands of anti-Trump protesters chanting 'not my President' gathered in cities across the country tonight as anger
intensified over the shock victory. In New York City demonstrators packed into Union Square and Columbus Circle (right), hanging effigies of Donald Trump (left) as cries of 'Black Lives Matter' and 'Donald Trump, go away, racist, sexist, anti-gay' filled the streets. The crowds walked more than 40 blocks uptown to picket outside Trump Towers, where the President-elect will live until he moves to the White House in January.
