The incredible moment a brave mother shields her two-year-old son while two dogs attack them as they try to get into their home

The attack occurred in Anaheim, California and started when the boy was set upon by the two dogs in the front yard of his home, before his mom came to his rescue. As the woman tried to get her son inside, she couldn't find her keys, and the dogs continue to maul the two. Surveillance footage shows the woman shielding her son with her body while trying to fight off the animals (main). Finally a neighbor who heard her screams came and grabbed the dogs. The little boy suffered extensive injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he underwent plastic surgery for a laceration to his face (inset).
