News Donald Trump claims Hamilton cast HARASSED VP-elect Mike Pence and demands they apologize after audience booed him during show

Vice-president-elect Mike Pence, a self-confessed man of the people, has been delivered a message directly from the cast of Hamilton - after earlier being booed by the audience. The jeering got so bad at stages during the show that the performance had to be stopped, according to those in attendance. Then, once the curtain had fallen, the cast itself spoke to Pence. 'Vice-president-elect Pence we welcome you and truly thank you for joining us here,' Brandon Dixon said on-stage. 'We sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights. 'But we truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us. All of us.' The play has been popular with political figures - and not all received such a frosty reception. President Barack Obama saw the play last year and was welcomed backstage by the cast afterwards. Hillary Clinton also saw the show, while its creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda, helped organize a fundraiser for her during the campaign.
