Now THAT's how you shut down London': West End is brought to a standstill by showboating drivers posing next to their vehicles for selfies with passers-by in 'secret supercar' meet
Drivers in Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Bentleys worth more than £1.6million stopped traffic in the West End for 15 minutes last night (pictured) so they could take selfies and pose with their cars. Shabs Kream Ahmad, who helps run the group Piccadilly Boy Racers, said the event was a 'secret supercar meet' to avoid 'riff-raff' and no 'd*******' drivers. In a video promoting the event Mr Ahmad told friends: 'Now that's how you shut down London, true PBR style', sitting in a 2015 Audi R8, which can cost £230,000. One driver in a £350,000 Lamborghini Aventador even brought his young son as a passenger while huge crowds mobbed the supercars on the gridlocked Piccadilly Circus. Irate motorists stuck in the long queues called in the police but Scotland Yard said no action was taken. A spokesman said: 'There were no offences and no arrests were made'.
