Fury as Anjem Choudary gets five and a half years jail for hate campaign
The British-born cleric and his deputy Mohammed Rahman (right in court sketch and inset) were found guilty of encouraging support for ISIS in a series of incendiary lectures on YouTube. Their supporters shouted 'Allahu Akbar', meaning 'God is great', in a courtroom at London's Old Bailey as his sentence was announced today. Both men will be entitled to automatic release after serving half of their sentences.
