Caught on camera: Chilling moment paedophile arrived to take virginity of a '13-year-old girl' - only to be caught by vigilantes who'd set a trap for him

Douglas Smith, of North Shields, Tyne and Wear, thought he was chatting with a schoolgirl through Facebook (inset) and encouraged her to meet up so he could take her virginity. But when the 56-year-old turned up to meet his underage target (right), he was confronted by members of Dark Justice, who pose as children online to catch sex offenders. Smith was already on the Sex Offenders Register as a result of an earlier conviction for viewing indecent images when he started chatting to the 'girl'. He has now been jailed.
