Amber Heard withdraws domestic violence allegations against Johnny Depp as they reach divorce settlement

Amber Heard has withdrawn allegations that Johnny Depp physically abused her as they reached a settlement in their divorce.

The 30-year-old actress previously accused Depp of throwing an iPhone at her face during a blazing row on May 21 - claims he denied.

They have now reached a settlement worth a reported $7million and as part of the agreement Amber has agreed to dismiss her domestic violence restraining order petition with prejudice, meaning she
can never re-file it.

Legal documents were filed on Tuesday in which the Rum Dairy beauty withdrew her request for a restraining order.

The pair, who were due in court on Wednesday, have released a joint statement saying: "Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love.

"Neither party has lied nor made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm.

"Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity.

"There will be no further public statements about this matter."

Amber has not commented on what percentage of the $7million will go to charity, or which charity she has chosen to benefit from the cash.
