Serena Williams has made history today after winning her 22nd Grand Slam by defeating Angelique Kerber (right with Williams) in the Wimbledon women's final today in front of a host of celebrities. Williams collapsed to the ground (centre left) with her arms raised in celebration (top left) after she netted her seventh SW19 title with a straight sets victory over the German, drawing her level with Steffi Graf in the all-time rankings. She could not wipe the smile off her face as she lifted the Venus Rosewater Dish trophy (main) as the surrounded crowd applauded and cheered. Among the celebrities watching the match, which ended 7-5, 6-3 to Williams, were (bottom, left to right) Sir David Attenborough, Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams, Oscar winner Natalie Portman, global superstars Beyonce and Jay Z, US chat show host Ellen DeGeneres, Sir Cliff Richard and comedian Peter Kay.
