These are the victims of the worst mass shooting in American history. Fifty people were shot dead after a gunman wielding an assault-type rifle and a handgun opened fire inside a crowded gay nightclub in Orlando in the early hours of Sunday after pledging allegiance to ISIS. So far 23 victims have been officially identified by the city of Orlando on its website. Pictured clockwise from top left, Edward Sotomayor Jr., 34; Stanley Almodovar III, 23; Eric Ivan Ortiz-Rivera, 36; Juan Ramon Guerrero, 22; Luis S. Vielma, 22, Kimberly Morris, 37, Eddie Jamoldroy Justice, 30; and Luis Omar Ocasio-Capo, 20, were all confirmed dead. Terrorist Omar Mateen called 911 just before the attack to pledge allegiance to ISIS. Mateen, 29, of Port St. Lucie in Florida, reportedly laughed as he sprayed bullets into the crowded club before he was shot dead by a SWAT team several hours after launching his horrific massacre with a legally bought assault rifle and pistol.
