Calais mayor calls for migrant camps to be moved to BRITAIN as Brexit vote scuppers border deal with France
Mayor of Calais Natacha Bouchart has confirmed she will be pressing for the Touquet agreement, which sees border checks conducted on UK-bound migrants in France, to be suspended. There are currently around 7,000 migrants camped in Calais and Dunkirk, many of whom make regular attempts to get into the Channel Tunnel or board a ferry. Ending the agreement would mean cars and lorries would not be checked for migrants until they reach the British side of the Channel
