GETTY INCOMING: Nwakali looks set to join Arsenal
The Nigerian midfielder claimed on Facebook earlier this week that he had agreed a move to the Emirates.
Nwakali posted a picture of himself holding an Arsenal shirt with his name on the back.
He also put up a picture with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, which was taken earlier this year.
He wrote: "New life begins @Arsenal."
And according to AllNigeriaSoccer, the 18-year-old will wear the No.25 shirt.
They say Nwakali requested it after agreeing a five-year deal with the north London side.
He wanted No.25 because former Arsenal ace Kanu wore the same shirt.
Nwakali, a star for Nigeria’s Under-17 team, will join from Diamond Football Academy.
The youngster caught the eye of Wenger after winning the golden ball at the FIFA Under-17 World Cup last year.
