Two 14-year-olds are charged with murders of dinner lady and her daughter, 13, who were found 'stabbed to death' in their own home

It emerged today that the two people arrested in connection with the murder of Liz Edwards (pictured, right) and daughter Katie (centre), 13, in Spalding, Lincolnshire, were only 14 years old. The pair were found dead in their home on Friday (pictured, left) and a window on the ground floor was broken. The two teenagers arrested will appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court tomorrow, but police have not yet confirmed if they are male or female. Investigators have also refused to release the cause of death, although local sources believe the women were stabbed. It is believed that Miss Edwards has another teenage daughter who also lives at the house. Officers remained at the scene - a quiet cul-de-sac (bottom left) - throughout yesterday.
