Revealed: Tragic superstar, 57, had to make emergency landing in his private jet and be given a 'save shot' for drugs six days before he was found dead in an elevator in his Minnesota estate

Prince was allegedly treated for an overdose just six days before he was found dead in his Minnesota estate, when his private plane made an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois, on Friday. Though representatives said he was battling the flu, sources said that doctors gave him a 'save shot', which is usually agiven to drug overdose victims. The 57-year-old music icon was seen at a Walgreens pharmacy (center) near his Minnesota estate looking 'frail and nervous' on Wednesday at about 7pm, just 15 hours before he was pronounced dead. The 57-year-old music icon was seen leaving the pharmacy near his $10million suburban estate in Minnesota at around 7pm last night in what was his fourth visit to the store this week and his final outing. Paramedics were called out to the music icon's $10million Paisley Park estate at 9.43am EST today after he was found unresponsive in an elevator. They attempted CPR, but Prince was pronounced dead at 10.07am. His cause of death is not known, but in a call to paramedic on the way to Prince's home, a 911 dispatcher said: 'Male down, not breathing.' Prince - full name Prince Rogers Nelson - made a final public appearance at a show on Sunday, where he did not sing, but said: 'Wait a few days before you waste any prayers'.
