Manchester United 'agree £60m deal' with Mourinho

© Nick Potts/Press Association José Mourinho wants to make a decision on where he is going to work next season by early May Jose Mourinho will reportedly become the highest-paid manager in history if he takes over at Manchester United in the summer.

The Sun claims Mourinho will earn £60million over a three-year contract, which would put him on a bigger wage than all of United's players.

The story goes on to mention there remains support for Ryan Giggs in the Old Trafford board room but Mourinho has always been top of the list of candidates to replace Louis van Gaal .                         © Provided by Mirror

As Manchester Evening News Sport has detailed extensively in recent months, United have been in regular dialogue with Mourinho, who reached a gentleman's agreement with the club in February and agreed a deal earlier this month.



The Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira reportedly jetted into England this week to negotiate a deal for the 18-year-old Portugal international.

United have entered the race to sign Charlie Coppola from non-league side Lewes.

The 16-year-old is also apparently interesting Leicester, Chelsea and Arsenal.

And Marcus Rashford 's England Under-21 debut might be on hold, since he is unlikely to play in May's Toulon Tournament after United reached the FA Cup final.
