Kate feeds a baby rhino and elephant calf at animal sanctuary with William but admits she misses Charlotte and George - who is 'too naughty' to take on tour of India

Beaming from ear to ear, the Duchess of Cambridge could barely contain her joy after being given the chance to feed an elephant calf (main) and a baby rhino (top and bottom right) on her visit to the wilds of India today. The Royal couple were thrilled to be given a hands-on experience with the animals who are being nursed back to health after being injured, displaced or orphaned. The Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation has helped thousands of animals including hand-raised elephants, rhinos and bears. Earlier, the couple spent a fun-packed few hours spotting elephants and rhinos in the wild as they travelled in a jeep through Kaziranga National Park in Assam (inset). The pair, who are on the fourth day of a week-long tour to Indian and Bhutan, have flown to the beautiful north east of India, famed for its jungles and tea plantations, to highlight the work being done to preserve the country's natural habitat.
