Mother-of-two made up THIRTEEN fake children - including three sets of twins - to claim £10,000 in benefits

Rebecca Jones, 32, of Wythenshawe, Manchester, was already claiming tax credits for her two real children, but decided to try her luck with authorities by creating the fake offspring. She fraudulently claimed £9,952 in benefits between December 2012 and September 2013. Jones pleaded guilty to knowingly being concerned in the fraudulent payment of tax credits, and appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court on Friday. She will be sentenced next month.
