Jennifer Lopez struggled to contain her emotions as she broke down following La'Porsha Renae's powerful performance on Thursday.
Before her rendition of Mary J Blige's No More Drama, La'Porsha opened up about an abusive
relationship that ended just before she appeared on the show.
By the end of the song both La'Porsha and Jennifer were in tears, with the judge getting up from her seat to give her a standing ovation.
Praising the talent show hopeful, Jennifer said: "It takes a lot to overcome those things in your life baby.
"I know - everybody knows - we’ve all been through stuff like that, you know what I mean? And honestly, you’re an inspiration - it was so beautiful.
"You put it in your music and you don’t over do it. It was powerful. Thank you for that moment."
