'I am sorry. I am an addict': The Voice favourite Beth Morris dramatically quits show on quarter finals night after she was accused of taking cocaine during rehearsals
The clear favourite to win the BBC talent show sensationally walked out just hours before the live quarter final citing 'personal reasons, which have only just come to light'. But it later emerged 26-year-old Beth, left and centre performing on The Voice, had been forced to stand down because of a drug addiction she has been battling for years amid claims she was seen taking cocaine during rehearsals, although not on BBC premises. Her vocal coach Paloma Faith, right with the contestant, was said to be 'devastated' at her exit after taking a 'huge personal interest' in her student. Beth is now thought to be seeking help for her addiction while another quarter-finalist, Chloe Castro, has also withdrawn for unrelated health reasons.
