Police in Argentina are searching for a footballer who shot and killed a referee after being given a red card in an amateur match, according to The Guardian.
The player reportedly retrieved a gun from his bag and returned to the field to gun down 48-year-old official César Flores in the head, neck and chest.
“It all happened during the football match,” a police official told the EFE News Agency. “We don’t know [exactly what took place], but it appears the player was angry, fetched a gun and killed him.”
