Fans were left stunned after reports claimed Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Liam Payne have been enjoying a secret three-month romance.

Now video footage from The X Factor final in December appears to show the rumoured lovebirds becoming locked in a close clinch following One Direction's swansong performance on the ITV show prior to their indefinite hiatus.

The 32-year-old hitmaker, a decade older than her rumoured-beau, reached out to the handsome singer in the clip, who gives her a lingering kiss on the cheek while holding her waist.


In the video, Cheryl, whose new romance was first reported on Saturday in The Sun, rose from her perch on the judging panel, where she sported a flirty red gown, to warmly greet Liam.

The Wolverhampton-born hunk, wearing a tan coloured suit, is seen reaching out to his rumoured new flame, before placing his hands on her lower-back to embrace her.
